Front Desk Administrative Assistant
The Front Desk Administrative Assistant, in conjunction with the Front Desk Lead, is responsible for reception at Champlain Housing Trust (CHT) Headquarters. They also carry out various activities in support of the Leadership Team, Property Managers and other staff in all departments.
Essential Job Duties (in conjunction with Front Desk Lead)
Job Specifications
Minimum two years in high-paced customer service/office environment; excellent computer and technology and public relations skills needed. Excellent telephone skills required; ability to speak multiple languages is a strong plus; Must be committed to CHT's membership based model of community controlled and permanently affordable housing.

Strong communication skills, interpersonal skills, problem solving skills, computer and technology skills, writing skills, organizational and planning skills, active listening skills. Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to relate to internal and external parties professionally, representing CHT in a positive manner. Must be able to handle highly sensitive, confidential information and have the ability to exercise confidentiality and attention to detail. The Front Desk Administrative Assistant must have the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, clients and the community.
Physical and Mental abilities:
The Front Desk Administrative Assistant must have the physical and mental abilities to perform the essential job duties listed above. However, reasonable accommodation may be extended to help perform those duties. The job entails long periods of sitting at a desk. There may be prolonged periods of computer work. While performing the essential duties of this job the The Front Desk Administrative Assistant may have to use hands and fingers, walk, stand, reach, or lift up to 25 pounds.
