Hiring Range: $25 to $32 hourly
The Corporate Staff Accountant performs a wide variety of accounting functions to maintain accurate financial records in accordance with GAAP and applicable regulations for Champlain Housing Trust’s (CHT) operating funds as well as those for properties owned and/or managed by CHT. This individual must take a proactive, independent approach to complete assigned duties with exacting accuracy, confidentiality, efficiency, and in adherence with CHT policies and procedures. The Corporate Staff Accountant will also use a positive attitude, strong communication and people skills to work effectively with co-workers within and outside the department and external stakeholders as needed in carrying out all duties.

Physical and Mental abilities: The Corporate Staff Accountant must have the physical and mental abilities to perform the essential job duties listed above. While performing the essential duties of this job the Accountant may have to use hands and fingers, walk, stand, reach, or lift up to 25 pounds.
